Welcome Eric Yu-Yun Hsu to our family!

Eric was born on September 30, 2006 at 3:19am weighing in at 7lbs 9ozs and 20 inches tall.
Robert is so proud of Di-Di (little brother in Chinese) and is doing a great job of being the big brother.
Eric’s middle name Yu-Yun is pronounced kinda of like saying the letters U-U-N. Yu means “jade” and Yun means “clouds”.
Here are the two brothers, two years apart:

We are so proud of our little cake!
Thank you Kmart!
Thank you Marie Beer at Springs Baby Products!
I am extremely grateful to Kmart and Marie Beer who truly went above and beyond. Here is a great story about customer service:
My son Robert has favorite (an understatement) security blanket – a blue elephant blanket by Small Wonders. It was a gift from friends who live in North Carolina, and they purchased him at Kmart. A year later, Robert is completely attached to “elephant”. After elephant got lost in the mall, an all-out search for elephant’s twin began – Kmart retail stores, online stores, Ebay. No luck. As a last resort, I contacted Kmart customer service through their website.
To my delight, Kmart forwarded the request to Marie at Springs Baby Products. She immediately responded with an email, and promptly rushed 2 elephant baby blankets to our home so our son Robert can rest easy with his favorite security blanket. Mom, Dad, and baby are now sleeping soundly once again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Fantastic job.

We almost lost our blue elephant today. Poor Robert. Good thing Baba went back to the mall, retraced his steps, and found him on the floor of Sears. Whew!
We are looking for Mr. Elephant’s twin to avoid any future problems in case Mr. Elephant decides to run away again. He was made by Small Wonders and purchased at Kmart in 2005. It is about 10 inches x 10 inches. Fleece on one side, satin-y shiny on the other. There is an elephant head in the middle. It is not musical or crinkly or make any sort of noise.
We have not been able to find a twin anywhere!!
