Bob-b-b-bob, d-dang d-dang I didn't know that!

Tonight will be the second full moon of July. When someone calls it blue, in your best maine accent, launch into a 20-minute tirade contradicting them. Wear a cup.

President & Chief Bottle Washer

Want to see where the money is coming from for the 2004 presidential election?

You can see the wee pockets of Republicans in Boston or the concentration of money in Washington DC.

Check out where candidates like  Al Sharpton get money.

Even snoop on your neighbors or  boss. Yup.  Scary on so many levels.

No surprise who is contributing from a certain address in Texas

Interestingly, I couldn't find any contributions from Michael Moore.

Caws, I love you.

CAW-CAW! Who doesn't love a crow? They are beautiful creatures. And very intelligent. They use tools. And how's this for a trick? They are capable of great deeds of love. And perhaps are multi-lingual. Most importantly, crows inspire us. And sometimes they're our best friends. So please tell me why anyone with half a brain would want them incarcerated?

Bevos, Cubebs and Sen Sen

Allison, Natalie and I were marching around the table to today to Trouble on the Music Man CD. I realized I didn't know about 20 terms in that song. Internet to the rescue.

Word Play?

As I was checking out stuff on Davinci's code, I ran across this John Langdon site who has done some really great logos, I think!

One week of Outdoor Evenings

Monday: Boston shows free outdoor movies in a different neighborhood each week
Tuesday: Fort Point neighborhood does their free outdoor movies
Wednesday: Take the ferry out the Martha's Vineyard for their free outdoor movies.
Thursday: Take in some outdoor Shakespeare in Allston/Brighton
Friday: You have two choices for outdoor movies in the city.
Saturday: Shakespeare in an outdoor theatre overlooking the Holyoke Range! Sounds like heaven.
Sunday: Yes, there are still drive-in theatres in Massachusetts.

This doesn't even count Tanglewood or Amherst free movies on the common. And Pittsfield has free movies. Maybe we can meet Scott there.

My New Home

Hey, checkout the groovy house I discovered in amherst today! Not sure who owns it, but it is all boarded up. Its just a short walk along an inconspicuous looking side path off the bike trail.

And because I am joe-mobile-internet, I was able to take these pictures, upload them to determan.net, and post to this blog all from the shade of a tree right next to the house!

Happy 4th of July
