Newcomb's Paradox

I have just read your mind . . . . . . . . .

I am the Newcomb super-program, and I am going to play a little game with you.

I have two boxes here. You must choose either both boxes, or just box 'B'. Behind box 'A', I have put $1,000. Behind box 'B' I have put either a million dollars or nothing, depending on my prediction (I have read your neurons, and I am a very good predictor). If I predict you will take both boxes, I put nothing in box 'B'. If I predict you will only take box 'B' I have put a million dollars in box 'B'. I have already put my money in the boxes. Go ahead and choose.

Box A:
Box B:

Choose one, but think very carefully before you do...

Take both boxes
Take only box B
