Puzzle Phone

Here's the pitch: You're commuting to work, something you do for nearly 8-hours a week. You're alone in your car. You thought NPR could sustain you, but you were wrong. Your brain aches for stimulation. Your bored mind begins to rebel. You start to argue out loud with yourself in spanish. You sense madness creeping in. You become convinced Terry Gross is encoding within the modulated overtones of her sultry voice the gps coordinates of her underground moonshine still. Desperate for intellectual engagement, you reach for your cell phone. Dialing frantically, you punch in the first number that comes to mind: 1-800-Puzzles. A friendly British female voice welcomes you to puzzle phone and prompts you to choose a puzzle style. The pressure lifts. You are free!

Puzzle Phone Enterprises is currently seeking seed funding (i.e. I'm trying to decide if I want to blow $100 on eBay to buy a dialogic board).

My Pewter Mancubus

Video games are great. Not just for the obvious reasons. The following is listed as the second bulleted feature for the Doom-3 pre-order:

"The fearsome menace of Mancubus is precisely detailed in genuine pewter."

Oh nice, I just noticed that blogger has a spell-checker!! I wish AIM had a spell-checker. Why must every program have its own spell-checker?
